Happy Mothers’ Day to all moms! I hope your day was great, in spite of unpleasant and unprecedented circumstances.
If you were partying with your mom and missed our live-stream, here’s a link to the whole thing on YouTube: Ramping Up to the New Normal – Week Four. A special thanks to all who sent in pictures to share!
Next week our series continues with a message about what we will leave behind when the quarantine season has ended. Be sure and be with us live next week. As usual, if you pop in early, there will be something special (not donuts, but easier on your waistline!) And don’t miss Tricia’s live-stream for the Grace Kids Church which follows on the heels of our “service.” She’s doing a great job keeping in touch.
PASTORAL SEARCH UPDATE – The Search Team is working consistently to seek God’s direction regarding a new pastor at Grace. This week some details for new pastor job description are being hammered out. Please continue to pray for this important team and the work they have to do. Pray that God will supply!
OPENING GRACE – We have set a tentative date for opening our doors for worship: June 7. This is contingent, of course, on the green light from our state and national authorities. If we are able to meet on that date, we will have protocols in place for safety and protection. Watch for the latest news on our Facebook page, our website (www.baygrace.org), and here in the Debrief.
PRAY! Here are a few things to take before the Lord in prayer as we wait this thing out:
Pray for the physical, mental, and spiritual health of our Grace friends.
Pray for the leadership of our national, state, and local governments – for wisdom, empathy, and compassion.
Pray for me!
Pray for those whose budgets are being strained to the breaking point because of unemployment or lack of ability to do business.
Pray for Grace and our own ability to keep paying the bills.
Pray for our Sunday messages and the people who watch. There are people who do not normally attend Grace who are logging on to view our videos, so please pray that God would use this opportunity to reach people for Jesus.
God bless you all.
